Mauriya Barnes is a senior student athlete at Aquinas College studying Child Life. Graduating in May 2023, she has been volunteering at the center since Spring of 2022 and will now be interning for the Little Tots Program for the spring semester. Mauriya plans to pursue a job as a Child Life Specialist after graduation.

Mauriya enjoys working with and helping kids and has experience babysitting, volunteering for children’s basketball camps, and being a youth basketball coach. Outside of this she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing basketball, traveling, and going to the movies.
