Rosie Aquino

Rosie is currently going into her senior year at Grand Valley State University, where she is in the Recreational Therapy program. After Rosie graduates from Grand Valley, she hopes to work as a Recreational Therapist in a children’s hospital.

Rosie’s passion for working with children comes from working with the children at her dance studio as well as being on a relay for life team throughout her childhood. Rosie has experience working with individuals with disabilities through volunteer work. She has been a volunteer for IKUS: Life Enrichment and Arthritis Foundation.

Rosie first joined Children’s Healing Center as a Volunteer in February, helping with Wednesday night, tween programs. Since her time at the Center, she has enhance her knowledge and skills as a recreational therapy student. She is thrilled to be leading summer camps, and is excited to work with the CHC team in continuing to provide Good. Clean. Fun. members to play and form friendships.
