Hello! My name is Emily Miller and I joined the Children’s Healing Center in December of 2020.
It’s me, Annalisa Lascoe. A sucker for adventure and the finer things in life. I’m just an ordinary young adult who is learning and growing from her mistakes and taking each day as it comes.
For 18 years I taught 3 and 4-year old’s in a preschool classroom. Averaging 30 kids a year that would mean I’ve worked with 360+ kiddos. I loved my job. But then along came an opportunity to be a part of a first-of-its-kind recreation center for children with weak immune systems.
At the Children’s Healing Center, knowing how to have fun and help children heal through the power of play is what we do best.

When I first became acquainted with the Children’s Healing Center, the thing that most impressed me about all the kids was their strength. They demonstrate physical, mental and emotional strength in so many different ways, and it’s awe-inspiring to see.
