Charmaine Kennedy

As the incoming Executive Director of the Southeast Michigan site, Charmaine leads the staff and advisory board in carrying out the strategic vision of the Center, oversees operations and growth initiatives, and works to foster meaningful community connections and partnerships.

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services, Charmaine possesses a solid foundation in understanding the unique needs of individuals.  Throughout her career, she has made significant contributions to society by assuming leadership roles and providing guidance to youth programs. As the Director of Employment and Training for the Inkster Boys and Girls Youth Summer Enrichment Camp, she played a pivotal role in shaping young minds by fostering personal growth and skill development.

Charmaine holds a license as a realtor in the State of Michigan. This additional achievement showcases her versatility and determination to succeed in various fields. Her strong work ethic, coupled with her compassionate nature, makes her an invaluable asset to the Center.

Her dedication doesn’t stop there. She also served on the Inkster Economic Development Corporation, the Inkster Cable Commission and the Tax Increment Finance Authority Board for the city of Inkster. Through these roles, she actively contributes to shaping economic policies and strategies that drive prosperity within the community.
