Lizzy Arnouts

 

Currently attending Spring Arbor University for her master’s in social work, Lizzy is excited to join the team at The Children’s Healing Center where she will be engaging with the kids and families. Lizzy attended Grand Valley State University for a bachelor’s degree in social work and a minor in psychology. She works at Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids as a contract staff, where she facilitates the children’s grief group once a week. Her background of having a little sibling with cancer has driven her passion to work at places that help children and their families dealing with diagnoses.

In her free time, Lizzy loves to go to her hometown of Pentwater and be outside and hang out with her family. She has three younger siblings that she loves spending time with. She also enjoys going to the beach, traveling, shopping, and hanging out with friends. She volunteers at many places including leading children’s church occasionally and being a summer camp counselor for cancer patients and their siblings.
