Pat Waring

Board Member

Pat Waring has been involved with the Children’s Healing Center since 2012. For years, she advised Amanda and the organization before taking the position of our very first Board Chair. She enjoys spending time with her children, Chris and Natalie, and her grandchildren, Billy, David and George. She is a resident of Grand Rapids.

Pat was formerly the Community Relations Director at Grand Valley State University before retiring in 2021. A graduate of Western Michigan University, she holds a Bachelor of Science.

Pat’s fondest childhood memories are summer vacations, family car trips and time spent at the family cottage on Lake George. Her favorite movie as a kid was The Sound of Music and the first album she knew by heart was Elvis Presley’s Rock ‘n Roll.
