Kourtney is a senior at Central Michigan University earning a bachelors of science degree in Child Development and Family Studies. She volunteered at the Center during our winter break camps and will be interning for the spring of 2024. Previously, she has experience working with children as a child life student at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital and as a middle school sideline and competitive cheer coach.

After graduation, she plans on pursuing a career in human services, working with children and their families. She will also be going back to school to obtain a degree in public health. Outside of school, Kourtney enjoys spending time in the warm sun. During the summer, she likes to kayak down the rivers and spending time outside with her dog, Ari. In the winter, she escapes the cold by traveling to Florida.
