Joy During the Holidays

Joy is defined as the feeling of happiness and delight generated from good moments and memories. We encompass the feeling of joy through the Center all year long, but especially during the holidays. Our mission of Good. Clean. Fun allows us to spread joy to not only our members but our staff, volunteers, and community partners.

The holidays around the Center are full of activities that spark joy including our Parent Night out programs, Gingerbread Party’s, Holiday Break Camps, and Interactive Dance Night. Many families are not given the chance to participate in holiday activities in their hometown with others, so we bring the fun and joy of the holidays to the Center!

The Gingerbread Party’s give me a chance to connect with other families and make new friends.

We aim to give our members a sense of normalcy and we are so grateful for community members stepping up and giving their time to supply our members with fun and memorable moments, especially during the holidays. Our members get a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus to whisper their wish lists to before Christmas comes.

We love that the Center brings Santa here because it is something we cannot do in the mall like other families, it gives our kids a chance to be normal kids.

We also welcome Dance with Me by Amber Marie for an interactive dance night that gets the kids moving and grooving during the holidays! Community partners are great at running programs and getting everyone in the Christmas spirit.

Whether it be programs or just time spent together, we supply endless joy and heartfelt memories here at the Center. The holidays are a special time for all families and we recognize that some do not experience typical holiday festivities. We work to give a little bit of joy back to our families during the holiday season through Good. Clean. Fun.
